FAQ

Everything people ask.

Do guests need to sign up?+

No. They get a private link via SMS or email, tap it, and land straight in the gallery. No app, no account, no password.

Do I need to sign up to try it?+

No. Click 'Try free' anywhere on the site and you're dropped straight into a working dashboard with a trial event. Save your account later when you want to keep the work.

Who prints and ships the photos?+

In production we use global print fulfilment partners (Prodigi and similar) with 50+ labs worldwide. Orders route to the nearest lab automatically. In the current MVP, orders are recorded and you fulfil manually while we validate the model.

Do I keep the copyright?+

Yes. You retain full copyright on every file uploaded. We're a distribution and checkout tool — the images and the customer relationship are yours.

What if a guest doesn't want to be photographed?+

You can hide individual photos from a public gallery, or restrict a gallery to invited guests only (each SMS invite carries a signed token).

What about children's events (christenings, school photos)?+

Private galleries only. We recommend restricting to invited guests, disabling public gallery URLs, and adding a consent line to your SMS template. Face-match is opt-in per guest, never automatic.

How much can I actually make?+

Conservative math: a 150-guest wedding with 40% open rate and 25% purchase conversion = about 15 orders. At an average $45 basket that's $675 gross, roughly $300-$400 net after print fulfilment. Scale to weddings, corporate events, schools, sports and it's meaningful.

What happens to my data if I stop paying?+

Your account is downgraded to trial. Your galleries stay accessible for 30 days so you can export orders and re-invite guests. Then galleries are archived (not deleted) for 6 months.

Do you handle taxes / GST / VAT on print orders?+

Yes — collected at guest checkout based on their shipping address and remitted through our fulfilment partner (production only).

Can I white-label the gallery under my own domain?+

Yes, on the Studio plan. Point a subdomain (e.g. photos.yourstudio.com) to us, upload your logo, done.
